- The sound of the footsteps were a little out of sync with the character and a little repetitive in terms of volume. When the character is further away from the camera the volume of the footsteps needs to be lower than when they are closer to the camera.
- The female character is wearing a necklace that is too similar to the necklace that he throws in the lake therefor giving the wrong impression that she's part of the plot.
- Continuity error- The main male character looks directly at the camera at 1.14. in order to rectify this we would need to re-film the scene or use a cut to trim the shot down.
- The gun shot is a too quiet and therefor you don't actually no he has been shot. We would need to find a different foley or louden the sound.
- Some of the cuts are a little too abrupt.
- It kept the conventions of stereotypical thriller openings.
- It asked the right questions that stereotypical thriller openings do. For example; who does the necklace belong too? Who was its owner? Why has it been thrown away? How does this tie in with the story?
- It sets up the story nicely, when it comes to the end of the opening (The necklace being thrown) you want to carry on watching as it keeps you engaged.
- The story flows on nicely with all the cuts in the right place.
