180 Degree Rule

This is the 180 degree rule. and can be incredibly important if you are filiming convosations. Imagne you had to be talking to eachother (see picture) you can only film one side of them otherwise it confuses the audience.
THE 180 DEGREE RULE CAN NOT BE BROKEN.
However, it can be filmed from tyhe other side using a tracking shot (a tracking shot for those of you who don't know already is one where you litterally move the camera along with you allowing it to sort of pan around the conversation for example)

Match On Action

A Match on action is used here when his single action of writing on the board is used between two differnt shots adjacent to each other.

Shot/ Reverse Shot

A Shot/Reverse Shot is used here to show  the kiss from both perspectivies, and primarily to show the emotion on both of their faces.
